Helen Pilz writes stories where history, adventure, and the human heart meet. Raised in a U.S. Air Force family, she spent her childhood moving across Ireland, Turkey, the Philippines, and England – experiences that sparked a lifelong fascination with history, travel, and the ways people adapt when they step into unfamiliar worlds.
Helen holds a degree in wildlife biology with a minor in history, and her deep research and immersive settings have become hallmarks of her fiction. She blends historical fiction, adventure, romance, and speculative elements such as time travel to explore themes of discovery, belonging, and hope.
Her published work includes the holiday romance New York Snow and Turquoise. She is currently developing a historical time-travel series opening in Victorian London during the era of Jack the Ripper. Helen is a member of Romance Writers of America and several specialty chapters. She lives in New Mexico with her husband and her dog, a yellow Labrador retriever.
